Larry Studer obtained a bachelor’s degree in chemical science and a master’s degree in accounting from Florida State University and a juris doctor in law from the University of Florida. He graduated from law school in the top ten percent of his class. After being admitted to the Florida Bar in 1984, he practiced three years with a law firm that handled construction and insurance defense matters, two years with the State Attorney’s office for Orange County, Florida, and two years with the firm of Akerman, Senterfitt & Eidson, at its office in Orlando, Florida. He has had his own office since 1992, where he has emphasized the areas of wills, trusts, and estates, assistance planning, litigation involving wills, trusts, and estate matters, as well as guardianships, and real property transactions.
During his time as an attorney, Larry has handled a great variety of legal matters. He has tried cases before juries and also before judges (non-jury trials). He has handled numerous hearings and other matters that arise in litigation, as well as appeals to the Fifth District Court of Appeal. He has also handled the probate of uncontested estates, contested probate matters, incapacity and guardianship proceedings, foreclosures, commercial and real property disputes, real estate closings, and landlord-tenant matters including evictions. He has drafted wills, powers of attorney, trusts, real estate contracts, leases, as well as other documents.
